I installed this about two weeks ago and it works as advertised. We wanted a cooktop with knobs because we were worried that our cats might accidentally turn on a cooktop with surface controls, and the four burner design provided the space we needed to use our pots and pans whereas the five burner design would not. Only drawback to date is that I'm concerned about the surface surrounding the burners and whether the dimpled surface is etched into the glass or whether it is some sort of applique that will scratch and be ruined by moving pots and pans; consequently I'm being very careful with the cookware. The knobs should be marked with white color on the "pointy" end - it's difficult to see which direction the knob is facing since everything is black - poor design there - all it needs is a little touch of white in the existing groove.

I was remodeling my kitchen and wanted to install new appliances. I like knobs rather than push button controls. It is beautiful, but I have had a bit of trouble learning to regulate the dual burner, however.
