Poor design and poor materials Very disappointing that the fine print of the manual says “don’t spill on cooktop or it can potentially cause pitting of the finish. Especially sugary foods.... Who cooks and never spills anything?!! No matter how careful you are, spills still happen!! What poor design and shame on a bunch of engineers for putting out a product that only looks good for a minute. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS COOKTOP, you’ll only be wasting your $$

I like the look of the product and am satisfied with its performance, especially like the power boil feature. But it is so very difficult to keep clean! Even a small drop of clean water makes a mark. I find I am spending a lot more time cleaning my stovetop than I thought I would. A suggestion: include a cleaning kit (Ceramabrite makes one) with the purchase of the cook top.
