I haven't had the cooktop long enough to totally feel comfortable with it yet. However, I do like the grates and burners. I do not like the indicators on the knobs to turn the burners on and off. They are way too difficult to read. We purchased the griddle, and really like using it.

We compared this model Kitchenaide and the GE. We liked both but knew Kitchenaide was a better quality and was built in America. The one feature we liked on the GE was the backlit knobs. When we were looking at the Kitchenaide I didn't see that as a feaure. Imaging my delight when I used it for the first time and wow backlit knobs. The only negative I would have is the settings on the knobs are so faint you can barely see them. Other than that this is a great cooktop.
