We purchased this as part of a complete kitchen remodel. The LED lighting is excellent and completly illuminates the gas cooktop. The fan is really quiet and only noticable (noise wise) on the highest speed. Low speed is nearly silent and medium is barely noticable (decibel level wise). My wife loves it . . . so that means I love it :-)

Replaced a generic canopy hood with this KA 36" and it up'd the appeal of the kitchen. The LED looks rich and the three speed fan is very tolerable.

This unit sits over our 36" KitchenAid cooktop. It is silent and powerful. The lighting is very good and the unit is fine sitting 34" above it. It's great!
