Great Microwave Not So Good Convection Oven

I've tried several times to cook via convection and combination (microwave & convection) and came up with disappointing results. For an oven that costs this much I'd expect it to come to temp fast and maintain it. I tried to cook at 400 degrees and the oven never got to that temp even after 30 minutes of pre-heating.

I purchased this to replace a Siemens/Bosch microwave that I had for 15+ years. This one has the ability to convection cook & microwave but it's missing a few bells and whistles. I really miss the programmable light timer to have the light come on at night a turn off after a few hours. I also wish this had an option for the Warm/Hold function to choose between microwave, convection & combination warming. Otherwise I really can't complain, it's a very stylish looking above my stove and the exhaust fan is very powerful. One more thing, you're missing a starter Microwave/Convection Cookbook to help us use the different functions properly. That would be a BIG help.

Amazing Microwave with Aesthetics

Aesthetically pleasing from the very clean view from the front. The entire front face is the door, and the completely flush touch controls are integrated into the door. It's perfectly flat, black and sleek but for the lettering for the controls. This is a plus design feature because there are no moving parts in the controls, and no openings around any buttons - all flush glass surface. Why does this matter? Because with years of use over a cooktop those little openings get filled with crud and foul the little mechanical switches on the circuit board behind the front facing user control panel. It looks great!It does everything a microwave should do. No worries or problems whatsoever. One thing I noticed that's kind of cool, while running it did not interfere with wifi/bluetooth when I was standing in front of it - quite unlike the eyesore with failing controls it replaced.

Great working with many different operation modes, very sleek design, easy installation with great installation instructions and templates. Works wonderful, very quiet operations to include vent fan, super bright lighting modes.

I decided to get an induction cooktop instead of a double oven, well this microwave makes up for that. Having the ability to convection bake in the microwave unit plus a lot more functionality puts this unit as something I would recommend for anyone.
