Replaced a 24 year old microwave that quit working. Installation was easy. Looks good. Only negative is in packaging came with cardboard bottom and top then wrapped in plastic. Purchased from Lowes on sale and the original was damaged small dent on corner of the door. Lowes exchanged for second unit, just issue of having to return for exchange.

The simplicity of the menu is easy to understand and use. The rotating glass is a little small should you have a large square plate – it must be placed very carefully so that the turntable can turn and cook evenly. While we have had it less than two weeks it is difficult to write more. One thing that annoys me about appliance purchases is how they are priced. In the past products were guaranteed without additional "warranties" which add another third to the cost. We have had appliances that have lasted more than a decade, no more. Lucky if we get 5 years. Appliances are more expensive to repair than replace.

worst appliance i ever bought. my wife and i are the only ones in the home, and the microwave is not used heavily. my wife put bowl of soup in to heat up for 2 minutes, she started smelling a bad odor and check the soup once timer stopped, not warm at all. my last microwave, a GE lasted 15 years and was still working when i replaced it wit this one. As they say, they don't make things like they use to!!!! read many reviews from people that have problems with this model. So, makes me frustrated off to pay good money for something that last just beyond the warranty. i bought it in June of 2018. So, now i am wondering about the other whirlpool products i bought. extremely disappointed. now i have to try and find something to match my other appliances, and spend another 300 plus dollars. DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE. William Gambrell
