Frustrating

Purchased 11/1/2020. Shipped 2/11/2021, installed 3/3/2021. Same issues as everyone here. After only four months it started with the display randomly going all zeros then to a flashing clock. Next, seven months in, certain oven settings begin not working- no heat. Called customer service today and were very nice, however no appointment for over two weeks. And from the sound of it I will be without an oven for a while waiting months for parts. Extremely frustrating and really dissappointed in what I thought was a quality brand. Bosch should re-call these ovens and provide refunds if they cannot find a lasting repair. Consumers shouldn't be stuck with continuous problems or having to purchase another very costly appliance to replace.

2 Problems Right Out of the Box

Right out of the box my range did not work in 2 ways: First, the oven did not work at all, on any of the settings. This was repaired a month later when parts finally arrived to fix it. Second, the clock runs fast and is unusable; after 2 months still waiting for Bosch to find a fix. For such an expensive range I find these problems inexcusable.

My Bosch range worked for approximately 1 month. After that, the oven stopped heating up. For awhile, we were able to use a couple of modes, like the pizza setting. Then, all modes stopped working. The Bosch technician, who is very nice, identified the problem a known issue, and ordered the appropriate part. The next visit, after a few weeks of waiting, we found out that the wrong part was sent. After a few more weeks, the new part was installed. We then found out that the issue was larger than that, and requires additional parts. At that point we were months into having no range. The call center rep who my wife dealt with was rude and completely unhelpful. We finally had to order a new range from the big box store we bought it from, which has been going on a few months, with more months to go. We are now paying for 2 ranges while we wait for the new one to arrive. After that, no doubt will be time and effort to resolve the payment issue as well. I can't stress enough how poor our Bosch experience has been.

This is a great range. I really like the electric oven and the multiple rack setting for baking cookies. I can bake 2 large racks of cookies and never have to rotate or turn the racks and each cookie is perfectly even. The gas cooktop is also great. The large burner has plenty of BTUs for fast sautéing and the small burner hold a good simmer. The only complaint is sincere the day it was installed the clock has gained about 20 minutes in time each week. After 3 months Bosch has not resolved the issue.

After only two months the oven has developed serious problems. The bake and convection bake settings stopped working and the control panel is no longer functioning. After calling Bosch numerous times we are still not getting any one to come and fix this.
