We purchased about a month ago. My wife has always wanted a gas KitchenAid stove. She loves it. Easy to use and easy to clean. Wonderful product!
Looks great but the oven doesn't perform

I have been using this range for a couple of months now. It is a great looking unit! The cooktop portion works well and the larger burners will boil water in less time than my old range. Unfortunately, the oven does not perform well, in either bake or convection modes. Cooking times are somewhere around 20-30% longer than recipe times, or than our old oven. Using convection baking does not make any difference in cooking times. Baked potatoes have gone from an hour event in the old non-convection oven to an hour and a half in the new one, with or without convection. We bought a separate oven thermometer and saw temps averaging over 50 degrees below the set temperature, never reaching or exceeding that setting. We filed a warranty claim and the technician came out and checked it out. He claims the temperature cycled between 50 degrees below to 50 degrees above the set temperature during each heating cycle. He ended up recalibrating the oven, basically to make it run 10 degrees hotter than the set temperature. This has helped some, but it still takes longer that the suggested recipe times or the previous unit. A search on the Internet would seem to show that a good oven's heat cycle range should run between 20 up to 30 degrees around the set temperature. Kitchenaid is certainly supposed to be a very good oven. Our oven has a much wider heat cycle range and it affects its ability to cook properly. It does not perform as well as the low end GE range it replaced. I sell appliances and have sold a lot of Kitchenaid product, touting their quality and higher performance compared to other brands. I will no longer be able to recommend their ovens based on my experience. While I have other Kitchenaid appliances I'm happy with (dishwasher and MW), this range is a major disappointment.

Works great, looks great. Bottom drawer seems a little flimsy for a quality range like this. I expect more from KitchenAid!
I love the professional appearance
