It does an excellent job cleaning. The hoses are retractable but don’t go all the way back in securely and sticks out. In the beginning, after detaching from the faucet head, leftover water would dump out of the hose no matter how well you try to shake out the excess. But after a while, that doesn’t occur anymore. The sprayer arms could get bits of food jammed in the holes but you just need to pop off the arms and poke things out, tweeze, or flush out. Make sure the cylinder trap is turned all the way clockwise until it snaps into place.

Bought it mainly to wash canning jars.Tested it out on dirty qt.tomato jars.They were glistening when l removed them tonight.Very clean which is important when home canning.
