We bought this along with the matching washer in the Oklahoma City area and love the features. The dryer is loaded with new features over the previous model and so far its been a god send. The best feature is the fact that you can start a load to dry, but if you do not get home until well after it has ended, the dryer starts itself and spins the cloths to keep the wrinkles out and help prevent odor build-ups. Super quiet..too

I like how its big. but noticed if you have a very small load its hard to dry it completely but still need to figure out all the functions.

Uncharacteristically, I purchased this dryer without doing much research. I had had my previous washer/dryer for 15 years, and it had been on the downswing for about 5 years. I got lucky with this set, and my feeling is that it's a workhorse. The capacity is outstanding, and all the special features such as the steam refresh have put my iron essentially out of business. Large loads get dried without wrinkles or multiple cycles, and it easily manages even a king-sized comforter. My only issue is that I can't get the machine to pair with my bluetooth so I can control it via the Maytag app.

I bought this set (MED8630 Dryer/MHW8630 Washer) about a month ago. They were delivered in perfect condition with everything promised in the box. We connected the hoses, vents, and electrical then added some detergent and fired up our first load. The washer is very quiet and offers a multitude of pre-programmed cycles and optional settings. The Normal cycle that we use most frequently is fast and does a very good job getting the clothing clean. The Dryer is equally as quiet and dries clothing quickly and thoroughly with plenty of options to choose from. Both appliances are huge compared to the compact Euro appliances we had prior to these. They both are energy efficient. Our first load of laundry came out clean, dry, and remarkably fresh smelling. Time will tell regarding durability and reliability but we feel confident the machines will perform well for the long haul. We're glad to have purchased these machines.

We have had this machine for a month and it is operating wonderfully. We are still working out the best option combinations for our purposes, but having all of the different options is very nice. We had our previous Maytag washer/dryer for about 35 years with only minor maintenance. This new one may not last that long, but I don't forsee any reasom that it shouldn't if we follow proper regular maintenance.
