I bought two of these units. They are both really really loud and one of them takes 3 hours to dry clothes. I will be taking that one back.

We washed our clothes three times with no incidents. However, the 4th time, the washer tub broke, loud piercing noises and the smell of smoke. A GE techician came out yesterday and said the entire tub would have to be replaced. He said he will let us know in 48 hours if this new machine will be either repaired or replaced. Since it is brand new (less than a month old) we are hoping for a replacement.

Love the large capacity washer and dryer but I cannot believe how loud it is!! Since it is a stackable it is in my main floor kitchen- the washer is incredibly noisy!

I am renting a new Stackable Washer/Dryer & I absolutely love it. It is so fast & efficient... Definitely recommend to anyone who is in a smaller apartment/townhome. Even in a house too. Doesn't take up barely any space & works so great. It's really quiet too! V CRC
