If space is a concern this fits into a small spaces and works well with small to medium loads. Be careful with large loads they may become off balance.

I bought this appliance to replace the full size GE unit I bought 8 years ago. I made a mistake in buying the GE. First it was too big for the closet; It was almost impossible to work on; Could not get to anything. Then finally the gearbox went out. The Whirlpool It had replaced worked great for 25 years, but I thought I would try a full size unit; big mistake! So now I am back to the original designed compact unit with improvements.
