Washing machine is simple, basic and washes really big loads. It does a really good job cleaning laundry. The dryer however does not dry my laundry like I would like. Given that it maybe an issue with my dryer vent...sometimes I need to run the dryer two or three times to get things completely dry so I only put in small amounts of laundry in at a time.

Had aSears stacked unit that gave up after 17 years so went looking for replacement. Needed it to fit small space and the Whirlpool was perfect size. Water level adjusting to weight of load is one of my favorite of the many features.

I bought this a month ago and I might have made a mistake. The Washer / Dryer combo has great looks and seems to function as described. I think it important to share the following concerns: The washer lid is very heavy and held open by a magnet. You must hold it with one hand as you close it. If you let go, make sure your hands are clear of the opening or you will experience the pain of it falling on you. Please be aware that both the water level and the drying time are automatic. We are experimenting on how to control this attribute better. We now keep the instruction book handy because the Washer / Dryer instructions are underneath the washer lid. You have to get on your knees to read them (see photo). Crazy.It would be nice to have a dryer alarm to alert you for no-iron clothes.

Just bought and spent hours installing. First load took 5 minutes in load sensing then gave up and drained half the tub before being dead. Would not even work for one load. The number they gave to call about damages will not answer or return your call. Very bad customer support.
