I wish I had my 30 year old stacked appliance back. The washing machine does work well with regard to capacity and cleaning, but it is so loud and disruptive in our small townhouse. The dryers capacity is also good and works well, but the design of the lint trap is AWFUL!! In order to get to the screening that captures the lint, you need to slide a panel off, where there is lint in the tracks and goes all over floor

First purchases one of these 11 years ago. First one broke down a couple of times and eventually we had to buy a new one. That one broke down twice within weeks of buying it and a GE approved repair person fixed it twice. It just died again. We're now looking at buying a Looks like we now need to buy a 3rd washer/dryer in just over 10 years! The only reason we buy this one is because it's small enough from front to back to fit in our apartment laundry closet. Also, the only way it washes things sufficiently is if you use bulky items option, otherwise it barely wets the clothes. Useless, unreliable waste of money. Avoid if possible.

Love my new GE washer/dryer. After I moved to a mother/daughter house was looking for a small washer/dryer to fit in laundry closet that my part of the house had. This was the best option for me and Im very happy with this find. Don’t miss my bigger washer and dryer that I had before. This is an amazing combo and I recommended to anybody! Great performance! Thank you GE!
