I’ve been using this washer since taking delivery 1 1/2 weeks ago. So far I’m pleased with the functions. The color and appearance of this Maytag duo is beautiful. This duo was purchased to replace another brand name that was not cheap when purchased but required several service calls. I wanted to make sure the replacement for them was American made. Maytag was able to do that so I’m really happy.

I selected the Front Load Maytag Washer for my new house because sleek look. This was a must have for me in the slate grey. This is my second Front Load Maytag Washer and I selected this brand because my last one lasted 20 years without any issue. I really like size, I’m able to wash large loads and bulky items with ease. Maytag is my brand of choice and front load is the way too go!

Purchased this machine may 30,2019 as a matched pair. First the Dryer rattled so loud you could not hear your self think. After three visits by the repair man they finally determined the dryer had been assembled incorrectly at the factory. Then the washer started not spinning on certain cycles I have now had the service man out 3 times and had the door lock mechanism replaced and still it does not work. Days lost waiting for service to show up and a washer less than 6 months old still not working properly. I owned a Maytag Neptune for 20 years and only had one service call in 20 years and it was still running strong when I moved. Needless to say this Washer is a Huge disappointment. What has happened to Maytag SO Disappointed.
