Not pleased at all with the maintenance. The first refrigerator had to be replaced the first week because it would not filter water. The new one filters water but they are unable to get me a fresh air filter. I have purchased six replacements and none fit. Lg was supposed to send me filters to try but havent received those. So if all the functions worked as they should I would give it a better rating.

I was dubious about switching brands after my last refrigerator lasted over 12 years. However there was a fantastic sale for this LG model and I took a chance at picking it up. Ive so far been very happy with this fridge. I didnt think the see-through window would be that useful but its come in handy. The top double-door fridge section has a great deal of space. My only complaint so far is that it can be difficult to make space for taller bottles. If they dont fit in the door youll have to adjust shelving which can leave some shelves with a very low height. Nonetheless Ive been very happy with the fridge so far. Ive never had a lower-half freezer section but Im getting used to it now and find that it does make it easy to store some larger frozen items.

Bought it a month ago to replace the old fridge made by other Korean brand. 1. Build material is much better: thicker/solid finger-print-resistance stainless steel solid drawers. 2. Way more capacity for the same counter-depth design with better shelf layout and lighting. Not yet try the WIFI option. 3. Dual filter system - air and water - provides excellent odor free environment. Quiet operation. 4. Most of all the ice maker works flawlessly so far not unreliable like with older fridge. 5. This fridge could have gotten a 5-star review if I can get the weird issue with the chilled water system fixed under warranty hopefully.

Love having the window.just tap and you can see what you have in your fridge without opening it. Definitely like having two ice makers and the ability to turn bottom one off if I need more storage space for food.
