Whirlpool is the ONLY one that makes a side by side refrigerator (with water/ice in the door) in this smaller size AND in the "Bisque" color! MY HOPE is that they continue! I'm in a small condo and I cannot fit anything bigger than the 33-inch across and the approx. 66-inch in height! The LED lighting is THE BEST! I immediately can see what I'm looking for right away and I also love the clear shelves in the refrigerator AND on the door. It's very spacious in the refrigerator and actually I would have given up a couples inches in width to have a little bit wider on the freezer side. The way the water and ice release is set up is a little awkward. I was use to my old refrigerator where you just hit the button to switch from water to ice and it all came from the exact same opening. I have accidentally hit the water a couple times with this different set-up and made a mess but all in all I'm very pleased with my new refrigerator. Also, I'd rather have a "numbered" dial for how cold to set the refrigerator. The "Ideal" (manufacturer) setting did NOT work for me. Matter a fact, the use of the description "Ideal" really threw me off because it froze everything on the top shelf and in the manual it did NOT give a solution to this problem. I was afraid to change it, but I had to! Not using the top shelf was NOT an option for me. I need the use of all my shelves, so I had to go to the next level, going warmer. Everything seems cold enough. Maybe, re-think this particular option/design on the refrigerator.

I purchased this refrigerator on line from Lowe's. With my measurements and color selection, biscuit, there was only 1 choice. After asking questions about the icemaker and interior lighting and shelves, I felt this would work for me. Imagine my surprise and amazement to find out after installation and waiting 24 hours for the water to get cold, that the refrigerator water never cools...only room temperature. Now who in this day and age would buy a side by side refrigerator where the water never comes out cold? The 35 year old refrigerator this new one replaces had this feature. Of all the questions I asked about the workings of this refrigerator, it never occurred to me to ask if the water would be cold coming out. I was absolutely astounded. I found this out through a chat with Whirlpool where she informed me that that model does not include this feature. Again, who manufactures a refrigerator that they believe someone would want that does not dispense cold water? if it had not already been installed and the other refrigerator not been moved out, I would have had them take it back. So no, I would not recommend a Whirlpool refrigerator to anyone unless they specifically asked this very stupid, stupid question.
