I am overalls pleased with my recent purchase. If I had one bit of feedback is that it has a space in the door where a enclosed butter holder would fit however it does not come with all the other accessories and I can’t seem to find one that I can order.

I have had two previous Whirlpool GOLD refrigerators and they were quality fantastic appliances. My new Whirlpool 28.4 cu.ft. refrigerator is completely inferior to my Whirlpool GOLD refrigerators and the front wheels will not roll because they are mangled. I had to install 4 - 7/8" high aftermarket wheels to solve the problem. I still have not given up on repairing my 25 year old Whirlpool GOLD and keeping it behind my wet bar. My review is based on a comparison to my Whirlpool GOLD refrigerators.

We've had the refrigerator for a month now and am very happy with it. We wanted a side by side to replace the 17 year old one that started malfunctioning and worried it wouldn't make it to 2020. Fortunately this was in stock and delivered the next day, and we didn't have sticker shock! Everyone is getting the freezer drawer style with refrig on top, but I don't want to bend down for lost bags of frozen blueberries. I can easily see what's back there on the shelves. You can't beat the look of the black stainless! Fingerprints and smudges wipe off with no problem. It runs quietly, with no loud compressor noise. Doors glide open and closed. The ice maker is on the freezer door, so the bin is easy to reach if you don't want to use the ice dispenser. There is actually a lot of room in both refrigerator and freezer. Good inside illumination. My main criticism is that the refrigerator shelves are not adjustable. You can take them out for easy cleaning, but they don't adjust. The shelves are good quality. Happy with this Whirlpool purchase!

We bought this fridge 2 years ago, within the first six months it stopped making ice. We had it repaired under warranty. Now a year and a half later the ice maker has stopped working again! We replaced the ice maker and it is still not making ice. We have had 2 different repair companies refuse to come out to work on it as there are so many known issues that they will not work on this model. So now we are stuck with a $1900.00 that makes no ice. Thanks Whirlpool, we will not be buying your brand again.

This is the perfect size for a large family. It is laid out really well, making everything accessible. The ice maker is in the door, allowing more usable shelving space. I do wish it had come with a butter shelf, but we were able to order one that fits on line.
