My main refrigerator went out and needed repair. You can live without many kitchen appliances, but it is very diffuicult to live without a refrigerator. Appliance repair shop were all backed up. Luckily my friend had a extra refrigerator we used. Therefore, I decided that it would be nice if we had a spare refrigerator, so we did some research and decided on the Frigidaire 10.1 Cu. Ft. Top Freezer Apartment-Size Refrigerator. We have had no issues so far, and we keep it in the garage and currently use it for keep drinks cold and the freezer for items that we use frequently. We also have a standup freezer in the garage. Great buy!!!

Refrigerator Doesn't Get Cold Enough

i bought this refrigerator a month ago. The refrigerator section does not get cold enough- only 38 to 43 degrees, even at the "maximum cold" setting.I have thermometers in both the refrigerator and the freezer sections. When I first turn on the unit, it takes about two and a half hours to reach its lowest temperatures: 35 degrees in the refrigerator (max cold setting) and -9 degrees in the freezer (middle setting). The compressor then shuts off. The temperatures then rise into these ranges as the unit cycles on and off:Refrigerator: 38 to 43 degreesFreezer: -3 to 6 degreesThe FDA recommends a maximum refrigerator temperature of 40 degrees, with an optimum range of 36 to 38 degrees. This unit does not meet those recommendations.

I purchased this fridge for the mancave and for extra stuff that I can't fit in my main fridge, which is tiny (smaller than this one!). It works like a charm and I love the way it opens - no obnoxious handles sticking out, just grooves to grab hold of and pull. It fits easily through doorways and was a breeze to get to its final space. Prep was easy - just peel off the protective plastic/tape and plug it in! There are a couple spots that the plastic got stuck and seems impossible to get out, but it's not a bother. If someone happens to see it and pull at it, I wish them well on getting it out!

you can not reverse the doors the use & care guide says to remove the top hinge & using a screwdriver flip the pin over. On mine the pin is pressed into place no way of flipping it over, have been in contact via chat only with Frigidaire because they do not accept phone calls @ the toll free number
