Get rid of odors with charcoal
When the vent hood is installed in recirculation mode, the air is picked up and passes through multiple filters including the charcoal filter that absorbs odors. This freshened air is then pushed back into the kitchen. Over time, activated charcoal particles saturate and stop blocking off odors leaving your kitchen with strong smells.

The fan works very well. My only criticisum is that I would have liked to have been able to use the hood lighting from time to time as a night light. Unfortunately, we can't because if the lights are on for any long length of time the hood becomes extremely hot.

To start, the hood was easy to install and was adjustable to what is considered a low ceiling in today's kitchens! It's classy and from a style perspective fits right in. The fan is quiet and the lights are bright...a total bonus!
