Must be used in highest speed to make a difference, even on speed 3 it's hard to notice anything sucked in but it does make a difference compared to a recirculating microwave fan.

It is still early days but seems to be a good solution for keeping smells out of the kitchen. Haven't fried onions yet - that will be the true test - but has done well thus far.
