Bad design. Dim display. Multiple service calls. replaced many parts. got it working. Main board died. Dead microwave. paid to have main board repaired. Worked for about a month, then died. Now looking for replacement. Shame on Bosch for this crappy design.

There are so many functions that I'm still figuring out the best settings for everything. The microwave so far though seems to take 2x as long as a specific microwave oven but that might be because I haven't fully figured out how this device works yet, it's not super intuitive so I'm in the process of memorizing the manual

Product worked as a normal microwave for much more than average price of a microwave but screen failed 2 years in. I wouldnt buy anything bosch ever again other than dishwasher for having over 12k in their appliances.

We bought this product believing that Bosch was top quality and they would back their products. Completely and utterly wrong. We have had to repair this unit MULTIPLE times. First the screen began to dim to the point where it was impossible to see. SECOND, the fuse blew because the door hinge seemed to stick. After this, we had to open the door gently. THIRD, now it does not actually heat. I will NEVER buy another Bosch product again. This product was only 5 years old and I feel completely jipped. Technicians will not touch a microwave combo unit (we were not made aware of this).

I do not recommend this Microwave. In spite of being multi purpose we only use the Micro feature as I have two Bosch Ovens HBLP451LUC a RUC. 2 months after moving into new house (7/14) the Microwave Magnetron had to be replaced and someone forgot to include the Ceramic Tray. I've never been able to read the screen on the Micro. At that time the right oven seal and fan had to be replaced. Two months ago the Micowave quit and the right oven developed a couple of serious issues. The entire window of the Micro was replaced. Today I called the Bosch service number because the Micro had a strange noise and a blinking red square in upper left corner that was unfamiliar. Since I don't have a manual to refer to I called service and was told I would have to pay for a technican to come out. NOT GOING TO DO THAT. So here's the deal. I am keeping records of all this stuff and will deal with the CEO.
