This is our second of this product. Both this one and the prior worked well until 3 years on, when each suddenly sparked, smoked, and then stopped working with normal heating practice (paper and plastic, no metal). The life of these seems to be no longer than 3 years, very surprising and disappointed.

Installed this unit 23 months ago...replacing unit that lasted 23 years! Within a year latch quit working. It was under warranty, so they replaced the door, the latch and something else. That fix has not lasted a year. Door latch is about to quit working again.
