Giving 4 stars and would have given 5 stars but I am not happy with the oven noise that is constant when baking and when the oven is off which could last up to an hour (cooling off oven heat). I was not made aware of the noise issue by the online information or by the salesperson. A disappointment for the noise issue.

This stove is a replacement for a 25 year-old stove that was looking at bit long in the tooth. There are not too many choices out there for white, slide-in electric stoves that are reasonably priced. This one has a clean, modern design with front-facing element dials and a touch keypad for the oven, which I like since they tend to stay cleaner while cooking and since I don't have small children to worry about. The elements heat up much faster than my old range. I also like that the cooktop glass does not have an edge-to-edge design, which means less chance of drips down the sides of the unit, reducing the number of times you have to pull out the stove to do a thorough cleaning. I am withholding judgement on the longevity of the cooktop since it looks like it could scratch easily if you are not careful. I haven't done much baking yet, but the one time I used the oven it worked well. One last comment - the clock display is very bright and acts as a built in kitchen nightlight.
