Overall it's a very nice unit. Simple and functional. Looks good. The burner knobs have a positive lock (you have to push and turn) which is nice so you don't lean on them and turn on the gas without lighting. The burners also light IMMEDIATELY. The display is large and bright white - easy to see time or temp. GE could have used a different font for clearer display. Also, why use such tiny print on the controls - there is room to use a bigger font. The timer stays on forever until you manually shut it off. My old GE had removable drip pans under the burners- this unit does not. The stove grates are not perfectly flat. You find this out when stirring a small amount in a large pot- the pot wobbles. Preheat to 350 takes less than 5 minutes. Preheat to 550 took about 20 minutes. The oven seems to heat evenly. Again, overall I am very satisfied with this unit.
