Have only had my washer for a week but I am already pleased with the new one. I have to check to see if it is off and if I leave the laundry door open it doesn’t matter it is so quiet. The washer I replaced was not even 3 years old had an odor when washing and sounded like it was ready to take flight! This is one awesome machine. The clothes look great and so far I’m hoping all continues as it is!

Bought 6630 as a washer and dryer set and I am about to call Maytag service for the 2nd time. First time mother board and front panel LCD stopped working and the washer was OOS for 14 days while we waited for parts. Now the washer is cycling through the soil cycle. I wish I could upload the video but can’t. This means another call to Maytag and hopefully we won’t be down for too long this time. Also the dryer makes a horrible racket that the tech thought was a cracked fan blade but when they took a look everything seemed fine. I wish we had stuck with our Samsung W&D that gave us years of trouble free service.

Bought all new appliances for a new house. Kitchen and laundry. Washer leaked with second use. Third party company came out to fix via warranty. Took 2 visits and 2 parts, then finally a different tech to find a broken drum. Yes protocol is to fix until unfixable....but to fix a $1000 brand new appliance? Nah. Multiple calls to maytag and 2 months later a replacement. Also have to add...this washer is very loud. Some spin cycles sound like an air jet is in my laundry room. But it does spin the water out pretty good. Not a complete fail Maytag...just based on first impressions and bad experiences with a new product.
